The importance of surveillance equipment and its effect on crimes- Posted March 3, 2009
Surveillance equipment is an important component to any business security system. Not only will having surveillance equipment help to reduce crime, it will help the authorities to catch criminals. In the beginning of 2009 the Gas Pipe gas station in Dallas became a major crime scene. Three armed persons entered the station and opened fire on those as many as ten people. The shootings took the life of one person.
If it wasn't’t for the surveillance cameras, the police would not have as much information on the perpetrators. Cameras serve many purposes from preventing crime to helping the authorities to catch those who commit the crimes. CCTV systems give business owners/ manages an upperhand when dealing with theft and criminal activity. Many different systems are available to meet the needs of any business no matter what the size.
